At the British Wildlife Centre you will find four of the six species of deer found in the wild in this country.

Alongside the Deer Corner picnic area we will soon be installing an interpretive display, looking at all six British species of deer. The display will explore the vital contribution our two native species (red and roe deer) made to the survival of early man, providing meat for food, skins for clothing and antlers for tools.

Visitors will also be able to view antlers from a variety of deer species.
