Photographic Days

Our special Photographic Days are held when we are closed to the public. The combination of good vantage points, with natural settings and a peaceful environment give you unrivalled opportunities to achieve great images of British wildlife, with special access to our animals and birds.

Photographic Days at the British Wildlife Centre offer the amateur photographer the chance to get really close to our native mammals and owls. All our days are led by a member of our experienced keeper team who will present you with some of the very best British wildlife photo opportunities available. We offer two types of photographic day:

BWC Photographic Days

These include a wide variety of mammals; badgers, red squirrels, polecats and more. The day features special access inside the fox, otter and Scottish wildcat enclosures.

BWC British Owl Days

These feature all seven British owl species for you to photograph against the beautiful backdrop of our 16-acre nature reserve. You’ll have the opportunity to photograph owls on natural perches and in full flight, in open fields and in woodland settings.
