This is an ambitious project to convert up to 20 acres of former agricultural grazing land to a wetland and wet grassland nature reserve.
The result will be a mosaic of wildlife habitats for wild birds, mammals and invertebrates. We have recently opened the Wetland Boardwalk, which gives visitors to the Centre wonderful views of a pond and wetland portion of the reserve.
Our Schools Field Study Centre is now completed and open to
schools for practical science topics in the nature reserve.
